Long-term Development Programme for Slovene Armed Forces

Ljubljana, 12 March - SLOVENE/ARMY/DEVELOPMENT/PROGRAMME
A general long-term armed forces development programme, which was given a green light in parliament at the end of February, gives basic directions for an organisational development and functional transformation of the Slovene military and its institutions by the year 2010. This is only the first long-term development document to be adopted by the target year, said Defence Minister Franci Demsar for STA.
