Petan Receives U.S. Major General Garrett

Chairman of the Slovene parliamentary defence committee Rudolf Petan on Monday received U.S. Major General Joseph Garrett. Slovenia supports the preparation of the study on the defence reform and the assessment of the situation of the Slovene armed forces, Petan stressed at the meeting. Major General Garrett said that the U.S. was satisfied with the co-operation of the Slovene government, the defense ministry and the headquarters of the Slovene armed forces, the parliament reported.
