Gross Income Up 3.3 Percent in 1999

Private sector income movements at the end of 1999 and public sector income movements during 1999 caused an average 3.3 percent increase in real wages in 1999. This figure in income growth is proportional to the current growth in productivity. This is having a negative effect on the macro-economic situation in Slovenia, reported the latest edition of the Economic Window published by the Office for Macro-economic Analysis and Development.
