Restrictions on Wheat Imports from Hungary Lifted

Slovenia will liberalise wheat imports from Hungary as of Wednesday, when the protective measure regarding Hungarian wheat imports is lifted. While restrictions on the imports of the cheaper crop from Hungary, which have been in force for almost two years, will be lifted, import limits for pigs and pork from Hungary and the imports of slaughter cattle weighing over 300 kilograms adopted by Slovenia in accordance with the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) remain in force.
