Presidents of Upper Chambers of Parliaments for Greater Role of These Institutions

Presidents of the upper chambers of parliaments, who gathered in Paris at the invitation of the French senate, concluded their meeting with a final statement expressing the wish to increase the role of the upper chambers of parliaments together with the Interparliamentary Union (IPU). Among the 53 participating officials was also President of Slovenia's National Council Tone Hrovat.
