Electricity Supplies to Companies on TAM Premises Cut to 50 Percent

Maribor, 15 March - Companies located on the premises of the bankrupt Maribor vehicle factory TAM have been receiving 50 percent of the usual electricity supplies for the last three days because they have not paid their bills. In an attempt to resolve the situation the supplier, Elektro Maribor, has proposed a programme under which the companies would settle their debt step by step. If the MPP companies, owned by the Slovene Export Corporation, accept the programme on Wednesday, Elektro Maribor will restore normal electricity supplies to the companies, if not, the supplies will be cut down to 30 percent.
