American Ambassador Discusses SE European Issues

American Ambassador to Slovenia Nancy Halliday Ely-Raphel used Wednesday's meeting with journalists to discuss conditions in SE Europe and pointed out the ever growing suppression of free speech carried out by the Belgrade regime. She labeled the sentence of Dusan Mihajlovic, the arrests of student activists, the brutal beatings of independent journalist and the destruction of their equipment as very concerning.
