Khoerl Flies 224.5 Metres In Planica

Austrian Thomas Khoerl set a new unofficial world record in ski flights on Wednesday at the giant hill in Planica. During the second round of training, Khoerl landed at the 224.5 metre mark and thus surpassed the previous unofficial record set by Tommy Ingebritsen of 219.5 metres.
