Gaspari Concludes Visit to USA

New York, 17 March - SLOVENIA/USA/GASPARI
Slovene Finance Minister Mitja Gaspari concluded his visit to the U.S. after holding talks with representatives of the communications giant AT&T. During the visit Gaspari met with representatives of the American administration, the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, Slovene companies in the U.S. and financial institutions such as Chase Manhattan Bank, Citigroup, Merril Lynch, J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley. The talks with financial representatives were aimed at establishing whether an interest for investment into Slovenia or Slovenia as a spring board to the SE European markets, exists.
