Rupel and Picula Discuss Time Scheme for Settlement of Open Issues
Ljubljana, 20 March - SLOVENIA/CROATIA/FOREIGN/MINISTER
The Slovene and Croatian foreign ministers agreed to prepare a time scheme for a settlement of outstanding issues between the countries, Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel told the press after meeting his Croatian counterpart Tonino Picula. Rupel was of the opinion that Slovenia and Croatia are ahead of a period in which relations would gradually become more relaxed, with friendship and European neighbourliness being upgraded. Picula is accompanying Croatian President Stipe Mesic on his red-carpet visit to Slovenia.
