Presidential Office Clarifies the Contents of Kucan's Meeting with Mesic
Ljubljana/Zagreb, 22 March - President Milan Kucan and his Croatian counterpart Stipe Mesic did not discuss the deployment of Slovene troops from Trdinov vrh, nor did they talk about the Slovene intelligence van confiscated by the Croatian police two years ago during Mesic's visit to Slovenia. The only time those two issues came up was in answers to journalist questions in Monday's press conference, the office of the Slovene president said on Wednesday in a response to reports in some media.
