Two MPs Urge for Border Region Agreement Ratification

Ljubljana, 22 March - United List of Social Democrats (ZLSD) MP Aurelio Juri and his Liberal Democracy of Slovenia (LDS) colleague Joze Avsic addressed a letter to Speaker of Parliament Janez Podobnik, Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek, Deputy Prime Minister Marjan Podobnik and Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, in which the pair warn that the bill for the ratification of the border region co-operation agreement with Croatia has been waiting two years in parliament. They called on the above mentioned officials to ensure that the bill is promptly placed on the parliamentary agenda.
