First Step Towards the Privatisation of Ironworks in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 23 March - IRON/WORKS/PRIVATISATION
At its correspondence session on Wednesday, the government passed a programme for the structural reforms of ironworks companies in Slovenia which will also be presented to the EU at Thursday's session of the accession committee. The privatisation of ironworks companies is one of the tasks set down in the Europe Agreement, while the passed programme is to enable the development of the Slovene steel industry and represents an important step toward the conclusion of the reorganisation and privatisation of the Slovene Ironworks group.
