EU-Slovenia Association Committee Positively on Slovenia's Progress

Brussels, 23 March - Slovenia has made successful progress in most of the areas in the past year in harmonising its legislation with the acquis, was written in a in a joint statement after the session of the EU-Slovenia association committee in Brussels on Thursday. However, the country will have to put more effort in administration reforms, goes the statement. The EU is satisfied with the progress with the exception of telecommunications, where Slovenia is sluggish, Slovene Minister for European Affairs Igor Bavcar said at the sidelines of the session.
