The Council of Christian Democrats Discusses Merger with People's Party

The council of the Slovene Christian Democrats (SKD) held a session on Saturday, discussing the merger with the Slovene People's Party (SLS), the programme of the merged party and the procedure to elect its president. As SKD leader Lojze Peterle told to the press, the council did not discuss his possible candidacy for the president of the new party.
