Minister Marincek Visits USA

Minister for Science and Technology Lojze Marincek met with Slovenes living in Minneapolis on Saturday, the first day of his visit to the United States of America. Talks were centered on the possibilities for scientific, economic and technological co-operation between the two countries at a meeting which was attended by numerous entrepreneurs, scientists and religious dignitaries. American Slovenes were interested in the possibilities for investment into Slovene companies, and on the conditions faced by foreign investors in the Slovene financial market, in addition to expressing interest on the Slovene political scene.
