Bavcar Calls for EU Candidate Differentiation

Brussels, 27 March - At Monday's session of the joint committee of the Slovene National Assembly and the European Parliament in Brussels, Slovene Minister for European Affairs Igor Bavcar expressed that in practice the EU should consider the principle of EU candidate differentiation more. That the principle will have to be confirmed by actual individual assessment of progress achieved by the candidates, was also the opinion of the chief Slovene negotiator for EU membership Janez Potocnik.
