Foreign Reserves and Debt Decrease in January
Ljubljana, 28 March - FOREIGN/RESERVES/DEFICIT
Slovene foreign reserves amounted to US$ 4.004 billion at the end of January. This figure represents a US$ 99 million drop over December 1999 and is US$ 1.417 billion less than the total foreign debt of Slovenia. The latest bulletin published by the Bank of Slovenia indicated that the debt at the end of January amounted to US$ 5.421 billion.
