Slovene and Croatian Negotiators on the N-Plant

Mokrice, 28 March - Slovene and Croatian negotiating teams in charge of preparing a bilateral agreement on the Krsko Nuclear Power Plant (NEK) met Tuesday morning at Mokrice Castle, eastern Slovenia. The negotiators met for an eye-to-eye meeting to discuss outstanding issues mainly concerning financial imbalance and the decomposition of radioactive waste. Experts does not believe that today's meeting will bring an essential progress that would be acceptable for both sides. The process of negotiations will also depend on whether the economic affairs ministers from both countries will join the session in the afternoon.
