Slovene Women in Cairo Raise Funds for Poor Children

Cairo, 29 March - A delegation of the Slovene Women's Committee, an informal association operating under the auspices of Slovenia's Embassy in Cairo, has raised almost US$ 9,000 on behalf of children living at a Cairo rubbish dump. The funds will be used to buy a plot to build a school in the complex of buildings set up by charity, the Slovene Embassy said.
