Slovenia in the First Round of EU Enlargement, Says Sweden

Stockholm, 30 March - Slovene Minister for European Affairs Igor Bavcar paid a one-day visit to Sweden on Thursday as part of the regular dialogue between Slovenia and the EU member countries. Minister Bavcar made a detail presentation of Slovenia's negotiating positions and other preparations for EU membership. Sweden is of the opinion that Slovenia should be in the first round of EU enlargement, Bavcar told STA after the talks held with the Swedish officials, including the Swedish Foreign Minister Anna Lindh.
