Slovenia and Portugal Agree on Better Economic Relations

Before concluding his visit to Portugal, Slovene President Milan Kucan once again met with Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Guterres on Thursday. Guterres organised a lunch for Kucan in a little town of Sentra, some 30 kilometres South-West of Lisbon. While both sides were satisfied with the visit and assessed bilateral relations as excellent, some disappointment was shown on account of the poor trade relations, something that is exemplified by a modest US$ 25 million exchange in 1999.
