Agreement on Decrease in Medicine Prices Expires

Ljubljana, 1 April - MEDICINES/PRICE
Medicine pprices are expected to increase by 3.5 to 4 percent after an agreement on decreasing medicine prices expired at the end of March. The accord has been reached by the government and representatives of the Slovene and foreign pharmaceutical industries as well as wholesalers after Slovenia introduced the value added tax on 1 July 1999.
