Prime Minister Proposes a Deal to SDS and SKD

Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek has offered the leaders of the opposition parties of the Social Democrats (SDS) and Christian Democrats (SKD) a proposal for a framework agreement that will allow the government to continue its work until the end of its term. Drnovsek, who is also the leader of the Liberal Democracy of Slovenia (LDS), told the press on Wednesday that he made the proposal at a meeting with SDS and SKD leaders earlier in the day.
