Agriculture Ministry Denies Media Reports

The office for agricultural promotion and Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Food Ciril Smrkolj denied all reports Friday made by the media which suggested that the audit court found irregularities to the value of SIT 1.6 billion (7.8 millions) from budgetary resources when it examined the operations of the office. The sum represents the whole budget of the office. In a report the ministry added that the audit court did not find any errors in the content, but there were certain irregularities in concern to the procedure which were already done away with by the Ministry of Finance.
