Drnovsek Government Loses Vote of Confidence in Open Vote

Ljubljana, 8 April - PARLIAMENT/GOVERNMENT/CRISIS
The government led by Janez Drnovsek has failed to survive a vote of confidence as 55 out of a total of 90 lawmakers voted against the dismissal of the ten SLS ministers. 31 voted for the dismissal, while 4 abstained from voting. The legislature took an open vote, contrary to what had been announced before.
