Demsar Willing to Stand for Prime Minister-Designate

The SLS leader and the outgoing deputy prime minister, Marjan Podobnik told STA that he has had separate talks on the possibility of forming a new government with the SDS and SKD leaders, Janez Jansa and Lojze Peterle, some other deputies and the SLS group of deputies as well as the SLS outgoing ministers. The talks were held immediately after the vote of no-confidence was passed on the Drnovsek government, and will resume later today.
