Gross Salary Down 9.2 Percent in January

The average gross salary fell by as much as 8.5 percent in January from December, or 9.2 percent in real terms. The private sector however saw an even sharper fall of 11.6 percent, or 12.3 percent in real terms, mainly as a result of high payments effected at the end of last year.
