Polling Booths Open for Chamber of Agriculture Elections

At 7 AM on Sunday 441 election posts opened at which farmers and owners of agricultural land and forests are to vote for their representatives in the council of the Slovene Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry (KGZ). The KGZ currently has 178,000 binding members; persons who in 1998 earned at least SIT 20,000 (100 euros) in cadastral income. The members will elect four representatives to the KGZ council from each of the 13 voting units. The Slovene voting commission informed the voters at which polling booth they hold the right to vote.
