Podobnik Comments Gov't Crisis in Delo

The formation of a transitional government can only be considered if it is impossible to realistically expect prompt changes to the election system. However, if this opportunity did exist, then early elections are the optimal solution, said Slovene People's Party (SLS) leader Marjan Podobnik in an interview for Monday's release of the Delo newspaper. "If an opportunity exists for a change in the legislation I expect that we wont name a mandatory or government," he added.
