President Kucan to Consult Party Leaders after No-Cofidence Vote
Ljubljana, 10 April - Following the collapse of Janez Drnovsek's government in Saturday's non confidence vote in the parliament, Slovene President Milan Kucan on Monday discussed the ensuing situation with outgoing Prime Minister Drnovsek and National Assembly Speaker Janez Podobnik. The president decided to hold consultations on the situation and the chance to nominate a prime minister-designate with the heads of parliamentary parties and deputy groups on Tuesday and Wednesday, the presidential office reported.
