North Atlantic Council Meeting with Slovenia Postponed to 8 May
Ljubljana, 11 April - The office of the outgoing Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel confirmed on Tuesday that NATO leadership on Monday proposed to reschedule the North Atlantic Council meeting with Slovenia, which was to take place on 13 April. NATO representatives in Brussels proposed to postpone the meeting to 8 May because they were informed about the government crisis in Slovenia and because they assumed that the current uncertain situation could cause the member countries to gain a wrong impression about Slovenia, which has always been a model candidate.
