Slovene Minority Not Listed in Preamble to Croatian Constitution, Depite Mesic's Promise

Zagreb, 11 April - The working group in charge of changes to the Croatian Constitution appointed by President Stipe Mesic, did not include the Slovene minority in its proposal of changes to the preamble to the constitution from which Slovenes in Croatia were wiped out under the Tudjman regime.
