A Majority of Slovenes Favour an Early Election

A majority of Slovenes favour an early election after Janez Drnovsek's government lost a vote of confidence. According to a survey published by Delo on Wednesday, 61.1 percent of those questioned said an early election should be called, while 9.2 percent believed that a prime minister-designate should be nominated by the Spring parties (SDS, SKD and SLS). About 30 percent of respondents were undecided.
