Oman Appears to be a Common Candidate for United Party Leader

Ljubljana, 13 April - The executive committees of the Slovene Peoples' Party (SLS) and Slovene Christian Democrats (SKD) met at separate closed-door sessions on Thursday to discuss, among other, the names of candidates for the head of the united party. The SKD executive committee registered Ivan Ovan, Lojze Peterle and Izidor Rejc as the candidates, but left the list open in order to agree on a common candidate with the SLS.
