Potocnik: Germany Says Slovenia Among Best Prepared EU Candidates

Ljubljana, 14 April - Chief Slovenia's negotiator with the EU Janez Potocnik on Friday held talks in the office of the German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, thus winding up his two-day visit to Germany. In Germany's opinion Slovenia belongs to the first round of EU enlargement and is one of the best prepared candidate countries, Potocnik told STA after a meeting with Reinhard Silberberg, German chancellor's adviser for European affairs.
