SLS to Propose Franci Demsar for Prime Minister-Designate

The Slovene People's Party (SLS) endorsed the draft agreement on the Coalition for Slovenia, which the merged party (SLS and the Slovene Christian Democrats (SKD)) is expected to sign with the Social Democrats (SDS) on Saturday. However, the wording of this agreement is so far, only harmonised with the SKD, and not the SDS. At today's merger congress the SLS will propose outgoing Defence Minister Franci Demsar as the prime minister-designate for a caretaker-government.
