Bilingual Classes in Austrian Carinthia to be Introduced for Fourth Grade

Klagenfurt, 17 April - The Austrian Constitutional Court abolished all provisions in the legislation on minority schooling in Austrian Carinthia which limit bilingual classes for the Slovene minority to the first three grades. Court sources indicate that the decision of the court will come into force as of 31 August 2001, reported the Austrian Press Agency (APA).
