4,000 Metal Workers Turn out at Ravne Protest
Ravne na Koroškem, 18 April - As many as 4,000 metal workers turned out at a protest on Tuesday organised by the trade union of the Slovene metal and electrical industries at Ravne na Koroskem, northern Slovenia. The protest came as a result of the deadlocked negotiations on changes to the collective agreement, and because the employers had been deaf to trade union's proposals, its officials said.
