Slovene GDP Between 1995-1997 Equal to 66 Percent of EU Average

From a total of 50 regions in ten central European EU candidate countries only two of these regions had a gross domestic product (GDP) per capita above 75 percent of the EU average between 1995 and 1997, was reported by Eurostat. In that time Slovenia, which was considered as one regional unit, averaged about 66 percent of the average EU GDP.
