Husband Attempts to Shoot Wife

Ljubljana, 19 April - S.V. from Sromelj near Krsko, eastern Slovenia, attempted to shoot his wife with a hunting gun on Tuesday, but his attempt failed as his wife knocked the gun out of his hands and ran out of the house. When police arrived at the scene, S.V. had locked himself in the house and did not answer commands from police. The house is said to be secured and the police are continuing with their operation, it was reported from the general police office at the Ministry of the Interior.
