Parliamentary Speakers from EU Candidate Countries Discuss User-Friendly Legislation

Parliaments play a key role in bringing legislation closer to the people, and with that it is important that the legislation is written well and comprehensibly, stressed the speakers of parliament from EU candidate countries who are on the second and final day of their meeting in Ljubljana on Wednesday. The ninth meeting of the speakers from candidate countries with European Parliament President Nicole Fontaine began yesterday, while Fontaine left last night, today's discussions were attended by Deputy President of the European Parliament Guido Podesta.
