Social Partners Agreed on Higher Vacation Payments

The social partners, i.e. representatives of the government, employers and trade unions, on Thursday continued negotiations on changes to the agreement on the 1999-2000 payment policy. Employers agreed that the lower limit of the annual vacation payment should be raised from SIT 102,000 (around 505 euros) to SIT 107,712 (around 533 euros) and that the negotiations on collective agreements should be launched in March and concluded by the end of the year at the latest, Pergam-KSS president Dusan Rebolj told STA after the negotiations.
