Delo Newspaper Company Successful in 1999

Slovene newspaper and publishing company Delo generated a turnover of SIT 6.85 billion (34.25 million euro) in 1999, according to audited data, which is a 22 percent increase from 1998. The operating profit increased from SIT 565.58 million (2.83 million euros) in 1998 to SIT 686.2 million (3.43 million euros), while the net profit increased to SIT 784.9 million (3.93 million euros), up 34 percent in comparison to 1998.
