Central European Presidents in Favour of EU Enlargement

Szekesfehervar, 28 April - SUMMIT/CENTRAL/EUROPE
Twelve presidents of Central European countries, who are meeting at a two-day summit in a Hungarian city of Szekesfehervar, declared they are in favour of EU enlargement. As stated by Slovene President Milan Kucan, the EU enlargement to eastern Europe is a final signal that the ideological and political divisions are over, that the past has ended and the European future has begun.
