Slovene Workers Face Unstable Social Security

The social situation in which workers live in Slovenia has been much more unstable than ten years ago when the country gained independence from the former Yugoslavia. This is primarily a result of a market economy which has brought about a 13.5-percent unemployment rate, Slovenia's main trade unions maintain.
