Writers from around the World to Discuss the Ethics of Human Rights

Ljubljana, 3 May - PEN/MEETING/SLOVENIA
At this year's 33rd International Writers' Meeting which begins today in Slovenia writers from around the world will chiefly discuss the languages of literature and universal human rights which have been brought under pressure of new world divisions. The panel on human rights will be held in Ljubljana on 5 May by the PEN Peace Committee; with participation of Lev Timofeyev of Russia and Chechen poet Islam Elsanov, the panel is likely to result in heated debates.
