Russian Ambassador Calls for Multi-Polar World on 55th Anniversary of the End of WW II

Ljubljana, 4 May - One of the most important lessons of the Second World War is that different nations should continue to strive for the strengthening of mutual trust and co-operation, so as to prevent new wars and resolve the most important global issues, the Russian Ambassador to Slovenia Tigran Karakhanov told STA in an interview on the occasion of 9 May, the day that marks the end of the Second World War. Karakhanov urged for a democratic multi-polar world. "We believe that such a starting point would be the basis for strengthening security and stability, both on a global and regional level," added Karakhanov.
