The Most Expensive of 20 Lipizzaners at an Auction Sold, Unofficially

An international auction was held on Saturday at the village of Lipica, southwestern Slovenia, to sell 20 thoroughbred Lipizzaner horses. The prices of horses at the auction, which was organised by the Slovene Association of Lipizzaner Breeders, fluctuated between DM 3 and 20 thousand. Unofficially, three of the horses were sold, including the most expensive one.
