Slovenia's Progress towards NATO Membership on the Agenda in Brussels
Brussels, 7 May - The North Atlantic Council (NAC), the body of the highest rank within NATO, will brief Slovenia on the report on the country's preparations for membership in the Alliance at Monday's meeting in Brussels. NATO member states will be represented by ambassadors, while outgoing foreign and defence ministers, Dimitrij Rupel and Franci Demsar, will attend the meeting on behalf of Slovenia.
